All students who plan on attending the prom must have a signed permission slip returned to the main office by tomorrow, May 21 st . This permission slip was distributed when the student's signed up for the prom and a reminder was sent last Friday to students who had not yet returned the slip. At this point your son or daughter still has not returned the slip. Students who do not return the slip by the end of the day tomorrow may not attend the prom. We do not wish any student to be in the position of being denied access to the prom but we must have the slip signed by a parent.

Hello. This is a message from the Harrison Central School District to let you know about our Regents Math Support Session schedule up to the Regents exams. We are holding review sessions for Integrated Algebra and Math B Regents courses.
Integrated Algebra reviews are taking place every Thursday after school in room D136.
Math B reviews are taking place Wednesdays after school in room D134, and Thursdays after school in room D222.
We are holding Saturday morning session as well on the following Saturdays in room D210:
May 10, May 17, and May 31, June 7, and June 14 (Note, no sessions are scheduled on Memorial Day Weekend)
Integrated Algebra Reviews on Saturday mornings are from 9 am to 10:30 am.
Saturdays morning Math B reviews are from 10:30 am to 12 pm.

Cap and Gown Ordering
Good evening, this is Christopher Miller, Supervisor of Guidance for the Harrison Central School District on Tuesday, March 4, at 6:30pm.
This is a reminder for eligible graduating seniors. On Wednesday, March 5 and Thursday, March 6 graduation cap and gown orders will be taken in the cafeteria of Harrison High School from 2:30 to 3:30pm. At that time, forms will be completed by seniors and payment must be made. The cost is $25.00 and can be cash (exact change) or check made out to Harrison High School.
The process is simple and will be streamlined with several tables set up in the cafeteria to facilitate individual orders. The two afternoons will be staffed by faculty and student volunteers. We ask that seniors make the order in person.
Again cap and gown ordering will need to take place on Wednesday, March 5 or Thursday, March 6 from 2:30 to 3:30 in the high school cafeteria.

As part of the district's emergency preparedness plan, Harrison High School is presently undergoing an Emergency Lock Down Drill . I repeat, this is a DRILL . During this drill all students and staff are being sheltered in locations within the high school that are readily available to their location at the time the drill began. The locations have been chosen to provide as much protection as possible should there be an intruder in the building who has the intent of inflicting physical harm to one or more of our students or staff. There are no phone calls taken at the school during the drill. Our campus is now completely shut down with no one being allowed to enter or leave. It will open as soon as we complete the drill.
I repeat, this is a DRILL and we will send out another AlertNow when the drill is completed.

Exam week extends from Tuesday January 22 through Friday January 25. Students need only report to school for their scheduled exams.

Please be advised that the School District received a threatening phone call this morning. The Harrison Police Department was notified and, as a precaution, the schools were secured and placed on alert. The Police Department has informed the District that the situation has now been resolved and the school day will continue as normal.

Fifth Disease
Good evening, this is a message from the Harrison Central School District on Wednesday January 9, at 7:30 PM. This is Mr. Mastrota of Harrison High School speaking. At anytime during this message you may press any number on your keypad to replay this message from the beginning.
This message is to notify you that one of our students has been diagnosed with Fifth Disease. Fifth Disease is a mild childhood disease that usually presents with a rash to both cheeks. The diagnosed student is no longer contagious; however, the incubation period for the disease is two weeks prior to the outbreak of symptoms. While the disease is mild in children, it can pose a risk to pregnant women and people with chronic red blood cell disorders.
If your child develops Fifth Disease, please contact the school immediately. Additional information regarding Fifth Disease can be found on the Harrison High School website under “News.” If you would like a written copy of this information, please call the high school with your request.

SUNY College Tour
Good evening, this is Christopher Miller, Supervisor of Guidance for the Harrison Central School District on Monday, December 17, at 6:00pm.
I have two important announcements for our sophomores and juniors.
You may read this message in entirety on the Harrison High School website under Important Announcements or, you may call 630-3095. At any time you may press one to restart the message.
First, the guidance department will be distributing PSAT test results tomorrow December 18 during lunch periods. Students should report to designated classrooms to meet with their counselor during their lunch period. Signs indicating the appropriate classrooms will be posted throughout the school. Students will only receive their scores during their scheduled lunch period.
Secondly, seats are filling up for our SUNY College Tour. Students and parents are encouraged to make this overnight trip to learn first hand about SUNY Cortland, SUNY Geneseo, SUNY Brockport and the State University of Buffalo. The cost of the trip is $190 and includes busing, hotel and breakfast. The tour will take place April 8 and 9. Harrison High School Holiday Concert Cancellation

The Harrison High School Holiday Concert, that is on the district calendar for tonight, has been cancelled. In that the auditorium is still undergoing renovations we are not able to have the concert at this time. We regret not being able to host this event tonight however we look forward to having a state of the art auditorium in February when the project is done.
On behalf of our music department we wish you a very healthy and happy holiday season.
