Dr. Wool Pens Op-Ed Piece Asking For Immediate Steps to Improve Teacher Evaluations

 

Harrison Central School District Superintendent Dr. Louis N. Wool held in-depth discussions with high ranking education committee members of the New York Senate and Assembly over the past few months regarding the need for effective and useful teacher evaluations that involve sound research and best practices from national education experts.  Dr. Wool has met with Governor Cuomo’s top aides to provide evidence of the ineffectiveness of the current teacher evaluation system and insights for reforming the process.
