Facilities Improvement Update

Much of the work planned as part of the facility improvement bond has been completed or is nearing completion, and the largest project, the middle school, is underway. New learning spaces are already in use, including the eight new classrooms at Harrison High School, as well as the new high school guidance center and music wing. In addition to the work identified in the bond referendum, additional facility and capital improvement projects are ongoing throughout the district. The district’s facility improvement work addresses three key areas: health and safety, enrollment growth and space shortages, and instructional program needs.
