Strong Showing for Harrison High School Science Research Students at WESEF

Thirty-one students from the Harrison High School Science Research Program competed in the annual Westchester Science & Engineering Fair (WESEF) held at Sleepy Hollow High School.  WESEF, a science fair for local high school students in Westchester and Putnam counties, is affiliated with the Intel International Science Fair. The event offers science research students a chance to present the culmination of their research projects, conducted under the mentorship of a professional researcher, to scientists and industry professionals.

This was Harrison High School’s highest participation ever, and our students earned 16 awards.  WESEF is a highly competitive event, in which 662 students from 41 high schools participate.  The entire Harrison community is proud of our students' accomplishments, especially their science research teachers, Allison Blunt and Randy Gunnell.
