Harrison High School is proud to host the 4th Annual Relay For Life event on Saturday, June 9th with registration beginning at 5:30pm and kick-off at 7pm. The evnt continues through the night and ends as the sun is rising at 7am on Sunday, June 10th.
The Relay For Life event begins as the sun is going down to signify the darkness and fear that occurs with a diagnosis. A member of each team will continue to walk the track at HHS’ McGillicuddy Field all through the night, showing that cancer never sleeps and symbolizing the ongoing fight. A luminaria ceremony allows those participating to light a candle for someone struggling, to celebrate family members who have survived, or to remember loved ones who have lost their battle with cancer.
