HHS Fall Varsity Athletes and Teams Receive Scholar-Athlete Designation
Congratulations to the Harrison High School Fall Varsity athletes, coaches and teams that achieved the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Scholar-Athlete Distinction. This year, NYSPHSAA altered the qualifications, where by 75% of a total team’s members must have a 90% or above to earn the Scholar-Athlete Team distinction. However, this year NYSPHSAA has broadened their parameters so that even if a team’s total missed the 90% mark, all athletes who have earned this academic achievement will earn the designation of Scholar-Athlete.
Harrison High School is excited to announce that nine of our ten Varsity teams are Scholar-Athlete teams and 137 students have been recognized for their individual achievement.
