Purchase Elementary School’s third graders participated in their annual Wax Museum, dressing as important historical figures.  Students spend weeks researching and writing about their chosen individual who represented an important period in time whether from medicine, exploration, aerospace, politics and government, or sports to name a few.

Students then dress in costume and stand still while classmates, parents, and teachers “press their button” and listen while they deliver an oral presentation of relevant information on their chosen historical figure – much like the Wax figures in Madame Toussauds Wax Museum.
