The Harrison Athletic Program consists of 73 teams at the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Modified levels. A total of 29 sports are offered during the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons and compete in Section 1 Class B.
The Harrison Athletics program is built on the principles of Rigor, Development, Communication, and Accountability. Harrison coaches work to develop programs based on communication, clear expectations, ongoing feedback, accountability and developing self-advocacy in our student athletes. Our coaches and players are committed to meeting the standards of high expectation and maximum effort on and off the field.
The Harrison High School Athletics program has been recognized as a School of Excellence by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association with more than 75% of our varsity teams qualify as Scholar Athlete teams. Many of our student athletes consistently earn individual honors, including recognition as All League and All Section athletes. Other awards that Harrison athletes have earned include the New York State Athletes in Action Community Service Project Award, and New York State Sportsmanship Award.
