Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting

For eleven consecutive years, the Harrison Central School District has received the prestigious “Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting,” the highest form of recognition in government accounting and financial reporting by both the Government Finance Officers Association and New York State Association of School Business Officials. 

AAA Rating by Standard and Poor's

The Harrison Central School District has received a AAA bond rating, which is the highest possible rating given.  Harrison is one of only three districts in the State of New York to be awarded AAA by Standard and Poor’s.  As a result of this AAA rating, Harrison is able to borrow money for projects, such as the facilities bond, at the most competitive interest rate available.
