Harrison coaches work to develop programs based on communication, clear expectations, ongoing feedback, accountability and developing self-advocacy in our student athletes. 5th Grade Students Visit NY Philharmonic at Lincoln Center

Fifth grade students from all four Harrison elementary schools traveled to Lincoln Center for the NY Philharmonic’s “Young People’s Concert.” Students learned about how the orchestra works and listened to classic works from famous composers along with modern pieces from contemporary composers. The district’s music teachers arranged for students to meet with members of the orchestra and learn what it takes to be a performer with one of the world’s premiere orchestras. The trip was a valuable learning experience for students.
