HCSD's Fine and Performing Arts Department affords all students the opportunity to study music, visual art, dance, and theatre, providing every child with experiences that promote life-long participation and enjoyment of the arts. We embrace the cooperative work of parents, teachers, students, and the community, and are invested in a collaborative approach to support student development and success.

The Harrison Athletics program is built on the principles of Rigor, Development, Communication, and Accountability. Harrison coaches work to develop programs based on communication, clear expectations, ongoing feedback, accountability and developing self-advocacy in our student athletes. We are committed to meeting the standards of high expectation and maximum effort on and off the field.

HCSD Employees Give Back to Harrison Community

The Harrison Association of Teachers, Harrison Administrators Association, CSEA Harrison Clerical & Custodians and CSEA Harrison Teacher Aides & Assistants once again joined together to support of the Harrison Holiday Project.

Together, Harrison employees raised more than $6,000 to support over 500 families in Harrison. Their generosity helped to bring holiday cheer to many Harrison families in need. Representatives of HCSD employees presented a check to Holiday Project coordinators Jenny Schenk and Toni Braiotta.

Over the past several years, The Harrison Holiday Project has collected funds for food and gifts to give to Harrison families in need. This initiative was created to spread holiday cheer to families in Harrison community.

HCSD employee groups are valued members of the Harrison community and have generously supported the Holiday Project for many years.
