HHS Model Congress Team Competes at Harvard Tournament

The Harrison High School Model Congress competed against over 80 schools from all over the country at the Harvard Model Congress.  Twenty Harrison High School students developed meaningful ways to address important issues facing society through legislation we created in model congress committees. Students participated in a range of committees including Senate HELP (Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions), Senate Finance, House Energy and Commerce, House Select Committee on Climate Crisis. More than 1500 students participated in the competition, one of the largest delegations ever hosted at Harvard Model Congress in Boston. Harrison High School students Evie Rabin and Alexander Schwartz were named “Best Delegate” in their committees were awarded gavels.
