HHS Playhouse to Perform the World Premiere of We Could Be Heroes

The Harrison High School Playhouse will present the world premiere performance of We Could Be Heroes, a new original play about superheroes written by  Jonathan Dorf.  The playwright is Co-founder and managing partner of YouthPLAYS, has had more than 2500 productions staged in all 50 states and throughout the world. Still revising the script, Mr. Dorf joined the 48-member HHS cast (largest in school history), stage management and design teams by Zoom to conduct a full reading of the play.  He offered feedback and responded to student questions about the characters they will portray, a first-ever experience for Harrison High School students.  Mr. Dorf will visit Harrison High School in November to see the world premiere of We Could Be Heroes live, and will teach theater workshops at the high school. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the incredible premiere performance of this unique original comedy: Friday, November 7 at 7 PM, Saturday, November 8 at 7 PM, and Sunday, November 9 at 2 PM in the Harrison High School Performing Arts Center.
