Students placing in the Top 10 at New York State DECA Competition: Michael Griff, Rachel Kindler, Ben Lovinger, Deborah Meneses, Olivia Nicozisis, and Lindsay Reis.

The DECA Competition included submissions ranging from written exams, uploaded video presentations, and interactive role-play through zoom. Earlier this year, twenty Harrison High School students competed and qualified for the New York State competition and many received awards in the various business competitions.

Harrison High School DECA Business Club advisors Joe Santo and Deirdre O’Brien observed, “The students’ level of enthusiasm, determination to compete, and motivation to attain as much knowledge pertaining to the world of business is inspiring.   Even in the midst of a pandemic, students found a way to compete and succeed at the highest level.  We have never been more proud.”
