Julianna Blackman Named National Merit Scholarship Winner

Senior Julianna Blackman was named a National Merit Scholarship Winner. Fewer than one percent of high school seniors achieve this recognition. Julianna earned this distinguished honor based on her academic record, rigor of her course load, subjects studied, grades, PSAT score, demonstrated leadership, contributions to school and community activities, in addition to an essay and recommendation from a school representative. Julianna is an IB Diploma candidate, participates in the Science Research program, and performs in the school musical. She enjoys dancing and volunteers to share this passion with members of our community. Julianna plans to continue to study science in college.
