Voting Information 2020


The School Budget Vote and Election by Absentee Ballot Vote Tally will commence at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.

For Voters participating in the School Budget Vote by Absentee Ballot: Pursuant to the latest N.Y.S. Executive Order, absentee ballots may be hand delivered to the district through the day of the Election, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 5:00 P.M.

Absentee ballots should be delivered to the Office of the District Clerk at the Louis M. Klein Middle School between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. no later than 5:00 P.M. on June 9, 2020.

Absentee ballots mailed to the District will be accepted through June 16, 2020.

In accordance with Executive Order No. 202.26, the Budget Vote and School Board Election will be held remotely, by Absentee Ballot only. Qualified voters of this School District will receive absentee ballots by mail.

To be a qualified voter you must be a US Citizen, at least 18 years old by June 9, 2020, a School District resident for 30 days immediately preceding the vote, and not disqualified for any reason set forth in NYS Election Law §5-106.

You will automatically receive a ballot by mail if you have been listed on the poll list for the 2019 School District Annual Meeting or appear on a County Voter Registration List issued to the School District before the mailing of absentee ballots to the households in the School District.
