The Harrison Athletics program is built on the principles of Rigor, Development, Communication, and Accountability. Harrison coaches work to develop programs based on communication, clear expectations, ongoing feedback, accountability and developing self-advocacy in our student athletes. We are committed to meeting the standards of high expectation and maximum effort on and off the field.

LMK Guide to Learning: School Day

The school day at LMK begins with homebase at 7:56 AM and ends at 2:40 PM. Students may go to their locker starting at 7:48 AM. The schedule consists of nine, 39-minute periods daily and operates on a 6-day cycle (1,3,5- odd days and 2,4,6- even days).

Students also have an extended block period everyday. Extended block allows a fifth scheduled period of 39 minutes for more instructional time for teachers in Math, ELA, Science or Social Studies. This additional instructional time is used to extend two core subjects an additional 20 minutes each day. This is commonly known as the hour/hour block for instruction.
